Who are we hiring?

  • Joy Makers

    Individuals with different abilities that will receive scaffolds and support from Joy Mentors to learn how to take orders, make ice cream, coffee and tiny pancakes. 

    • 4 hour shifts
    • Minimum of 3 shifts a week

  • Junior Joy Mentors

    High school aged students who are aspiring educators will help mentor Joy Makers and support them as they acquire job training skills. They may perform the same roles as the Joy Makers to help model the role.

    • 4-8  hour shifts
    • Minimum of 3 shifts a week

  • Joy Mentors

    Aspiring, Current and Retired Educators will mentor Joy Makers and help them to acquire job training skills. We are looking for individuals with experience in the field of education. This includes but is not limited to: teachers, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and college students pursuing education degrees. Joy Mentors will supervise the Joy Makers and Junior Joy Mentors, learn to make all the products, prepare the coffee  in the morning and conduct daily operations. Initially, this role will be working alongside the owners. Joy Mentors must be comfortable giving specific and direct feedback to individuals with disabilities to help them learn their roles and responsibilities. 

    • 4-8  hour shifts
    • Minimum of 3 shifts a week
